The most common type of fire in server rooms is smouldering fire. Smouldering fires are usually only detected at a late stage, as the temperature hardly rises. Both fire and smoke pose an immense danger to staff and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fine spray extinguishing and sprinkler systems may seem like unusual solutions for fire protection in this sensitive area only at first glance. They detect and report fires, initiate the extinguishing process independently, are non-hazardous for staff and thus offer reliable protection around the clock.
