Since the construction of the first German offshore wind farm in 2010, offshore wind energy has become a mainstay of the energy transition. Holzhauer-Pumpen has been involved right from the start: Our customized fire protection solutions ensure the reliable operation of numerous offshore platforms, including the major projects BorWin, SylWin, HelWin, BARD and DolWin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These offshore converter platforms are still continuously feeding climate-friendly electricity into the German grid – a significant contribution to security of supply and the expansion of a sustainable energy infrastructure. They are not only a symbol of technological innovation, but also a strategically important building block for Germany as an industrial location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The construction and operation of an offshore wind farm places the highest demands on planning, execution and safety technology. Each platform is technically unique. For our customers, this means no off-the-shelf solutions. Materials must be extremely corrosion-resistant, components absolutely reliable and fire protection concepts well thought out down to the smallest detail – under constant stress from wind, water, salt and vibrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
