Fire and smoke pose a great danger to production facilities and server rooms.
Requirements
Special fire protection precautions must be taken during both the production and use of information technology. The most common type of fire in server rooms is smouldering fire. Smouldering fires are usually only detected at a late stage, as the temperature hardly rises. Both fire and smoke pose an immense danger to staff and infrastructure.
Fine spray extinguishing and sprinkler systems may seem like unusual solutions for fire protection in this sensitive area only at first glance. They detect and report fires, initiate the extinguishing process independently, are non-hazardous for staff and thus offer reliable protection around the clock. The principle of selective extinguishing makes sprinkler systems extremely effective.
Solutions
Holzhauer-Pumpen was significantly involved in developing the idea of supplying pump units in compact design more than 30 years ago. Since then, we have achieved the highest level of perfection when it comes to this design, which has enabled us to defend our technological leadership over the competition.

Our HSA exhaust system is equipped with all the necessary connection parts and components that are compatible with our units. This significantly reduces assembly times. The individual components also have a much lower weight than conventional, welded steel pipe systems, which in turn allows for assembly with minimal effort.

The exhaust gas aftertreatment for our diesel systems regenerates automatically, is equipped with a pressure and temperature probe and is connected to the controller.

Noise has a negative effect on both the entire body as well as on our health. Diesel fire pump units are loud and subject to intense vibrations due to their design – thanks to our SCHALLEX system and other measures, such as encapsulation of the entire unit, we have managed to reduce vibrations and noise down to a minimum.

We supply ready-to-operate and ready-to-connect emergency power units, also as prefabricated stations and also noise-reduced. On request, the units can be equipped with intake and exhaust air silencers for a surge load capacity of up to 800 kVA or are manufactured in compact design with coordinated controller and mains switching.
