Obermark portfolio companies donate to a good cause
During a visit by the Mayor of Karben, Guido Rahn, the Holzhauer-Pumpen team presents a donation of EUR 2,000 for language training for refugees. Other companies in the Obermark Group also support the common good.

Language connects. That’s why the town of Karben is working with the Protestant church to set up a project that offers language courses for refugees. But to make it a reality, it needs financial backing. Holzhauser-Pumpen is aware of its responsibility to the town and region and is supporting the ambitious project. During a visit from Karben’s mayor Guido Rahn, the Holzhauer team presented a donation check for EUR 2,000. Thanks to this amount, ten percent of the total sum required for the realization of the project is already available.
Lively exchange on economic topics
The mayor’s visit also provided a good opportunity to introduce the company Holzhauer-Pumpen and to discuss important topics such as economic development, personnel recruitment and various options for expanding the site.
Mayor Guido Rahn emphasized Holzhauser-Pumpen’s commitment to social and economic cohesion in and around Karben. According to Guido Rahn, Holzhauer-Pumpen is one of the city’s top five employers and taxpayers in this respect.
Further donation campaigns by companies in the Obermark Group:
At the end of the year, ROPEX presented a cheque for the charitable association “Bietigheim-Bissinger Tafel e. V.” and, as Managing Director Ralph Boehlke emphasizes, is thus following one of the four corporate values – cohesion. As a local company, Ralph Boehlke says it is particularly important “to do something good for local people this year. We have therefore decided not to give gifts to business partners and have made a donation of EUR 1,000. We would like to thank all the socially committed people who make an offer like the Tafel possible.”

V.” received 15 “First Aid for Children” books for primary school children in the Pinneberg district and the Esslingen handball club twelve new jerseys.
inotec Barcode Security GmbH was also committed to the common good at the company’s location: the provider of high-quality barcode, inmould, RFID and product security solutions handed over a Christmas donation of EUR 2,000 to the non-profit association “Kindertafel NeumĂĽnster e.V.”.
