We are a medium-sized company that has been successfully operating in the fire pump industry for over 50 years, serving a large national and international customer base. We are known for our innovative products, high quality standards, reliability, and professional, expert collaboration with our customers.
We are seeking a Technical Writer (m/f/d) for a permanent position, to start as soon as possible.
Your job
- Preparation of structured, clearly understandable operating instructions in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20607 and DIN EN ISO 82079-1 for our systems (diesel generators, electric generators, auxiliary generators)
- Review and optimization of existing documentation with regard to structure and compliance with standards
- Inclusion of references to the original operating instructions for the components
- Incorporation of all relevant safety and commissioning instructions
- Preparation of CE declarations of conformity, including the performance of conformity assessment procedures in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- Creation and revision of nameplates using appropriate software in accordance with legal and technical requirements
- Implementation of a content management system for technical documentation
Your profile
- Several years of experience as a technical writer (m/f/d), ideally in plant engineering or fire protection
- Proficiency in technical standards (especially DIN EN ISO 20607 & 82079-1)
- Written and spoken German at the C1 level or higher, as well as written English at the B2 level or higher
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with strong technical understanding
- Team-oriented, communicative, and solution-oriented
